Abstract

Every year the European Journal of Personality publishes a Special Issue ‘European Personality Reviews’. Up to three target articles will be accompanied by invited peer comments and rejoinders by the authors.
Target articles are conceptual pieces that initiate new lines of research and theory, provide a coherent framework for existing theory and lines of research, or focus on critical or controversial issues that have important consequences for personality research. Many past target articles have been very well received and particularly well cited. For examples of recent target articles, see the 2014, 2016 July/August issues, the 2015 May/June issue, and the 2017 and 2018 September/October issue.
To make a proposal for the 2020 EPR issue, submit an extended abstract of up to 1000 words. The abstract should spell out clearly the goals of the proposed target paper. It should be sent to the editor of the issue (Mitja Back) at
