The College would like to make a public apology to Dr James Scott of Queensland for the incorrect impression given by the announcement of terminations of membership in the March 2002 issue of Australasian Psychiatry.
We take this opportunity to make clear to all College members that Dr James Graham Scott, who is a child psychiatrist practising in Brisbane and who became a Fellow of the College in February 2001, is a valued Fellow of the College in good standing. Any impression which may have been given to the contrary was most unintentional and we apologise wholeheartedly to Dr Scott for this confusion.
Unfortunately Dr Scott shares his name with another College Fellow, known as Dr (James) Douglas Scott, who was in practice in Toowoomba and whose membership of the College was recently terminated.
