Dear Editor:
We would like to share our ideas on the article entitled “Acupuncture in Multidisciplinary Treatment for Post-COVID-19 Syndrome.”

Acupuncture appears to speed up post-COVID syndrome (PCS) recovery, according to Trager et al. However, given that symptom-titrated physical activity and exercise therapy were also being used, the independent effects of acupuncture were less evident and need to be investigated further.

According to Trager et al., acupuncture is a desirable potential PCS therapy, given its holistic approach and the possibility of incorporating it into a multidisciplinary, guidelines-concordant regimen.
We both concur that the current post-COVID-19 situation is of extreme concern.

This illness' clinical spectrum may be highly diverse. The current report may demonstrate acupuncture's value. However, we must concentrate on identifying the clinical issue. The possibility that a comorbidity might be the root of the clinical issue should be considered. It is also very important to be aware of the likelihood of both recurrent and asymptomatic COVID-19 infections.
