Abstract
Hopefully all existing readers of POLITICS will have noticed our vibrant new cover design. The journal benefits from having a clear, simple title, which defines its purpose, and we wanted to express that on the journal's cover. We would like to thank Blackwell for their help with the redesign.
Particularly attentive readers will also see that we have some new members on our Editorial Board. We take this opportunity to thank retiring members of the Board, and welcome new ones. We very much appreciate the role Board members play as guarantors of the academic standards of the journal.
