In the Spring 1997 issue of the journal, Ronald M. Green's affiliation was inaccurately listed. Although he did serve at the Office of Genome Ethics at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), in correspondence prior to pub lication of his paper “Parental Autonomy and the Obligation Not to Harm One's Child Genetically,” he requested that his affiliation only be listed at the Ethics Institute at Dartmouth College. He wanted to avoid any appearance of speaking on behalf of NIH.

The editors regret the confusion this oversight caused Professor Green personally and journal readers.
