A program is described that computes six reliability coefficients that reflect recent advances in the assessment of reliability. The program also outputs a variety of statistics, needed to compute the six coefficients, that are also useful for further item analysis. LINREL was designed to be portable and easy to use, and a detailed user's manual is available. A brief historical overview is given before program features are discussed.
