Elastic-Plastic Analysis of Boron/Aluminum Composite Under Constrained Plasticity Conditions

Abstract

The modelling of Boron/Aluminum composites under constrained plasticity is in vestigated. Testing is performed on a tapered specimen and one with a centered circular hole. A finite element analysis is compared with the experimental strain gage results.
