With the overarching theme of Encounter, Australian Catholic University confirms that Professor Chris Gastmans, Professor of Medical Ethics and Head of the Centre for Biomedical Ethics and Law at the Faculty of Medicine, KU Leuven who specialises in bridging ethical theory with clinical practice, and has particular focus on end-of-life care and care for the aged and Professor Antonio Iaccarino, Extraordinary Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Canon Law at Pontifical Lateran University will join our October Symposium.

2020 Conference on Medicine and Religion: True to Tradition? Religion, the Secular and the Future of Medicine
Deadline for submission of abstracts is September 27, 2019.
We invite abstracts for 75-minute panel and workshop sessions, 15-minute paper presentations (with 10-minutes for discussion), and posters that address issues at the intersection of medicine and religion, including but not limited to the conference theme.
