The authors’ study reviews most recent research on generative AI in writing pedagogy and professional writing. Following publication, the authors discovered that some of their stylistic changes in the review period were inadvertently omitted from the final manuscript. These changes would have improved the readability of the text. The authors have requested the editor of the Journal of Technical Writing and Communication to post a revised online version of the paper that includes the editorial changes and request that, going forward, authors cite the corrected version of their manuscript.
