Abstract

The article "Group Status and Attributions to Discrimination: Are Low- or High-Status Group Members More Likely to Blame Their Failure on Discrimination?" (1998, Vol. 24, pp. 821-837) is hereby retracted from publication. The retraction is requested by one of the co-authors of that article, Karen Ruggiero, Ph.D., who advises as follows: "The retraction is requested because serious questions exist concerning the validity of the data which relate solely to my own work and which do not implicate my co-author in any way." The co-author, Brenda Major, Ph.D., advises she has no objection to such retraction.
