During the past decade, much has been written about the importance of personalizing learning for all students, particularly at the middle and high school levels. Although students with disabilities have had the benefit of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP), for the most part these plans have focused on educational deficits in selected skill areas, rather than individual strengths and aspiration.
