Secretary Collins cites the following goals for international education: (1) an informed aware ness of that deepening interdependence of na tions, (2) an ability to live with realities—such realities, for example, as the limitations on the power of any single nation..., (3) a tolerance for ambiguity, and (4) a mental discipline in considering international issues—a habit of test ing proposed solutions against a check list of analytical questions.
