Successful High School,Successful Enterprise: Learning from Industry

Successful school districts, like successful companies, are orga nized around smaller task-oriented groups. In industry these groups are called enterprises. In education they are called schools. Because they operate in similar ways, schools can learn from the lessons of successful enterprises.
