Abstract

Upcoming Meetings
There is still an opportunity to register for the AOSSM Surgical Skills Course, “Surgery for the Athlete's Knee,” at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Rosemont, Illinois, September 13 to 15, 2002. Attendees will benefit from the increased laboratory time and no rotation. The agenda and the registration form can be downloaded at www.sportsmed.org.
The 2002 Advanced Team Physician Course, jointly sponsored by AOSSM, American College of Sports Medicine, and the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, takes place December 5 to 8, 2002, at the Marriott Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas. The preliminary programs mailed this summer will reflect a 3.5-day agenda replete with such compelling topics as concussion, injection issues, hip problems, arthritis, cardiopulmonary problems, sideline evaluations, return to play, and much more. Contact the Society office at the toll-free number, 877/321-3500, or 847/292-4900, for further information.
