FREE MEDIA TRAINING WEBINAR NOW AVAILABLE
AOSSM hosted a media/communications training webinar in mid-April for all members. Members learned about the best strategies for speaking to the media, whether on behalf of AOSSM or for their own practice or institution. If you missed the webinar, you can now view it on your My AOSSM page under the publications tab. You can either click through the PowerPoint slides or listen via podcast.
IMAGES NOW AVAILABLE IN ONLINE LIBRARY
Images are now a part of AOSSM’s Online Library. A separate area of the library has been established that will allow users to search and download images for use in presentations and other research activities. Images from AJSM have been unembedded from the actual article and organized by descriptive caption and topic area. This feature will allow a user to search the image library by keywords and then download the image.
The AOSSM’s Online Library is a free, unique, Web-based search engine that allows members to customize and save searches on relevant orthopaedic sports medicine terms and by the AOSSM curriculum. Users have access to resources such as AJSM, Sports Health, meeting abstracts, online meetings, and other AOSSM resources. To access the library, go to www.sportsmedlibrary.org.
