Abstract

The 29th Annual CHERRY BLOSSOM SEMINAR will be held Friday April 9th through Sunday April 11th at the Waterview Conference Center in Rosslyn, Virginia (Washington, DC). This 3-day course provides current clinical evaluation, imaging techniques, and treatment options for the most common orthopaedic problems affecting the shoulder and knee. This includes a review of arthroscopic techniques by which shoulder instability, cuff disease, labral, and biceps problems are treated. Discussion will include the appropriate clinical evaluation and treatment techniques to address knee ligament injuries, damage to articular cartilage, meniscus tears, and musculoskeletal trauma, as well as the management of osteoarthritis, including minimally invasive and conventional arthroplasty techniques. The Harkness Center for Dance Injuries at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases will be holding its acclaimed continuing medical education course, “PRINCIPLES OF DANCE MEDICINE: CLINICAL MANAGEMENT OF THE DANCER PATIENT,” from July 15 to 18, 2010. This 4-day didactic and laboratory course will contain the most recent clinical updates and research findings in the field of dance medicine and cover advanced treatment approaches for the practicing clinician.
