Submit a Name for the AOSSM Hall of Fame

Do you have a mentor or know of another outstanding member of the sports medicine community who should be part of the AOSSM Hall of Fame? Applications to submit a nomination are now available at www.sportsmed.org. The Hall of Fame honors members of the orthopaedic sports medicine community who have contributed significantly to the specialty and set themselves apart. Being inducted into the Hall of Fame is one of the highest honors given to a Society member. Deadline for submissions is January 25, 2017. Contact Camille@aossm.org with any questions.

The US Lacrosse’s 2017 Sports Medicine Symposium, presented in partnership with MedStar Sports Medicine, will be on Friday, January 20, 2017 in Baltimore at the Baltimore Convention Center. It is the goal of US Lacrosse to provide a comprehensive, national-level event on men’s and women’s lacrosse-specific sports medicine for the medical and lacrosse communities. The symposium is open to all attendees, including team physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, primary care specialists, athletic trainers, physical therapists, medical students, and allied health professionals. The 32nd Annual Advances on the Knee, Shoulder and Sports Medicine Conference will be held Saturday through Tuesday, May 27-30, 2017 at the Sonesta Resort on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. The conference is co-sponsored by The Jewish Hospital and Cincinnati SportsMedicine Research and Education Foundation and provides 32 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
