Abstract

In the above article equations 1 and 2 were incorrect. The correct versions are below:

where Q_t is the amount of elemental mercury adsorbed (µg) at time t, $\dot{V}$ is the volumetric flow rate of N₂ gas (L min^-1), C_oand C_t are the outlet Hg^o concentrations (µg/m³) at time t = 0 (min) and t = t (min), respectively. The quantity of mercury adsorbed per unit mass was calculated by using:

where q is the elemental mercury adsorption capacity (µg g^-1) at time t, and m is the mass of the adsorbent used (g).
