Abstract
'Dissenting voice' Joe Haines points out that WikiLeaks content is unsifted and its release is generally anarchic in intent. Forms of censorship are accepted in areas such as courts, defamation law, even editorial restraint. The cry of press freedom can be the last refuge of a scoundrel short of an argument. A result of the flood - rather than leak - of disclosures has been permanent damage to relations between politicians, public and media.
