Abstract
The titles of the principal journals from which articles are abstracted, together with the abbreviations adopted and the addresses at which the journals are published, were given in Volume 19 Number 1 (1987) to help readers who may wish to obtain the original texts. Unless otherwise stated in the abstract, the original article is understood to be in English. All articles abstracted (or copies of the journal containing the acticle) are understood to be generally available. Copies or translations of the original article cannot be supplied by the CIBSE. Abbreviations normally follow BS 4148. Permission has been given by the publishers of Science Abstracts and Ergonomics Abstracts to reproduce items from those publications.
