This annual award is judged by the members of the Accounting History Special Interest Group of the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand and is awarded to the author(s) of the article published in the journal which “makes the most significant contribution to the accounting history literature”. The award recipient for 2012 receives a AU$500 prize sponsored by the School of Accountancy, QUT Business School, Queensland University Technology.
