Abstract

In the February issue of the Journal, a printing error resulted in an incomplete paragraph in the article “Increasing Minority Representation in the Health Professions,” by Fleming, Berkowitz, and Cheadle. The first paragraph under the subheading “Implications for School Nursing Practice” should have read: “The CCEPH program was designed, implemented, and evaluated by a school nurse. Although grant funding enabled the nurse to have time for program development, many of the classroom teaching activities and projects as well as community-school coordination efforts are functions that can be seamlessly integrated into a busy school nurse practice—in fact, many of them are activities that many school nurses are already doing.” (p. 38).
Also in the February issue, in the article “Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act: Determining Eligibility and Implications for School Districts,” by Moses, Gilchrest, and Schwab, an error occurred on p. 57. In item 3, the phrase “glucose tolerance tests” should have read “glucose monitoring tests.” The Journal regrets the errors.
