This article tells the story of one woman’s search for a family through having a child. This personal journey through infertility, assisted reproductive technology (ART), other efforts to overcome infertility, and the delivery of a child includes the woman’s trials, joys, relationships, and experiences with ART, as well as the doctors delivering it.
