Abstract
A bold and visionary leader, Joyce J. Fitzpatrick charts her leadership style. Seven key components of her leadership style are included: vision and insight, positive thinking and behavior, creating win-win situations, learning from mistakes, sensitivity to others, sharpening the leadership skill set, and mentoring. Examples of her pioneering leadership in nursing and health care are included.
