Abstract
The March 2023 issue of Hispanic Health Care International is dedicated to serious health concerns that are growing among Hispanic populations: suicide and trauma. This issue features articles that focus on suicide, rape, and trauma. The guest editorial focuses on the understudied population of older Hispanic adults who are at risk for suicide. There is great need to focus more attention on these difficult topics to inform health care providers and raise awareness about the need for research to develop novel strategies to prevent suicide and trauma and increase access to mental/emotional health services.
