Abstract

From the Desk of the President
As we step into 2025, I am honored to address our members and share exciting updates about the future of the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU). This year marks a transformative period for our organization, one that is focused on enhancing our services, expanding our reach, and ensuring operational excellence.
One of the most significant developments for SVU is our transition to an association management company, Ewald Consulting. After careful consideration and strategic planning, the Board of Directors determined that this partnership would best position SVU for long-term success. Ewald Consulting brings a wealth of experience in association management, offering specialized expertise in membership engagement, event planning, education, and advocacy—key areas that will drive our mission forward.
Why the Change?
The decision to transition to Ewald Consulting was driven by our commitment to delivering exceptional value to our members. As the field of vascular ultrasound continues to evolve, we recognize the need for a more robust and scalable infrastructure to support our growing initiatives. Ewald Consulting's proven track record with professional associations ensures that SVU remains at the forefront of education, innovation, and advocacy.
