Abstract
The BC Pharmacy Association (BCPhA) Board of Directors has announced the appointment of a new CEO. Geraldine Vance is to take on the position effective January 9, 2012 — replacing Marnie Mitchell, who spent 8 years in the top association job. Ms. Vance has extensive experience in communications, government relations and public affairs, and spent the last 10 years as Director of Communications & Public Affairs for the BC Medical Association.
Previously, she worked within the BC government, as well as holding senior roles with several national consulting firms.
