In the original publication, there were errors throughout the paper, including in the abstract, references and citations.

In the Abstract, The subheading ‘Flexor tendon repair:’ has been corrected to ‘Flexor and extensor repair:’. The subheading ‘Extensor tendon repair and rehabilitation:’ has been corrected to ‘Rehabilitation:’.

The terms proximal interphalangeal (PIP) and wide awake local anesthesia no tourniquet (WALANT) are now added to the text.

Three references are now cited in the text (Merritt et al., 2000; Tang et al., 2023; Wong et al., 2010).
