Answer E. Sarcoidosis
Hypercalcaemia can be a feature of sarcoidosis due to increased production of calcitriol by sarcoid granulomas. Sarcoidosis most often affects the lungs. New respiratory symptoms alongside hypercalcaemia should prompt investigations considering this diagnosis and suspected lung cancer.
