Abstract
I am so very sad and sorry to announce the sudden death of my good friend, Prof. Dr. Sergio Rosselli, who was a professor at the Department STEBICEF, University of Palermo, Viale delle Scienze, Parco d’Orleans II - 90128 Palermo, Italy.
Prof. Rosselli, who served as an Editor of Natural Product Communications for several years, passed away on April 19, 2021 due to a bad illness. He was a big supporter of NPC and published more than 20 papers, with his first entitled “Guaianolides from the Aerial Parts of Centaurea hololeuca” appearing in 2006, Natural Product Communications, 1(4), 281‐285. Currently he was involved in organizing a special collection entitled “Chemistry and Pharmacology of Natural and Semi-synthetic Terpenoids” in honor of the 65th Birthday of Prof. Maurizio Bruno. It was our distinct privilege to meet him in November 2019 in Famagusta, North Cyprus, during the 6th World Congress on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, WOCMAP-VI, November 13‐17, 2019—Famagusta, North Cyprus.

Sergio Rosselli, who is survived by his wife Ivana and two very young daughters, will be remembered by the NPC family for his enormous contributions to its success, as well as by the community of natural product researchers for his thorough work on medicinal and aromatic plants.
