Abstract

At the request of the Journal Editors and SAGE Publishing, the following article has been retracted.
So E, Weber JS, Berlet GC, Bull PE. Surgical Treatment of Subtalar Joint Instability With Reconstruction of the Interosseous Talocalcaneal Ligament: Safety and Accuracy of a New Technique in a Cadaver Model [published online ahead of print, 6 February 2020]. Foot Ankle Specialist. doi: 10.1177/1938640019899828.
The authors of the duplicated paper informed the journal editors, that after not being contacted about their submission to Foot and Ankle Specialist, they believed their manuscript had been rejected and subsequently submitted the paper to The Journal of Foot & Ankle Surgery which accepted and published the paper as Surgical Treatment of Subtalar Joint Instability: Safety and Accuracy of a New Technique in a Cadaver Model by So E, Weber J, Berlet G, Bull P. J Foot Ankle Surg. 2020 Jan-Feb; 59(1):38-43. doi: 10.1053/j.jfas.2019.07.003. PMID: 31882145.
The journal editors have confirmed that due to an error in the journal’s manuscript submission software, initial processing of the submission was stalled. The authors and journal editors agree that the submission error and subsequent miscommunication contributed to the duplicate publication and all parties agree to the retraction of this duplicate publication.
