Looking Back at a Record-Setting 2026 AMSSM Annual Meeting in Seattle
The 2026 AMSSM Annual Meeting recently brought the sports medicine community together in Seattle for a record-breaking conference. This year’s meeting welcomed a record-setting 3404 in-person attendees, joined by an additional 507 virtual participants, to celebrate the theme of World Leadership in Sports Medicine: Achieving Our Vision.
The AMSSM Collaborative Research Network (CRN) set the tone and kicked off the conference with a 2-day Research Summit on Orthobiologics in Sports Medicine: Bridging the Gaps, which drew a record number of attendees.
One of the most meaningful moments of the week came with the presentation of the Founders’ Award by Outgoing President
We’re already looking forward to next year’s conference in Louisville from April 16-21, 2027, and we can’t wait to build on the incredible momentum we saw in Seattle.

At the end of 2025, NATA once again conducted its biennial salary survey, reaching members and nonmembers. The results of the 2025 NATA Salary Survey will be released this summer. Through the NATA website, members will have access to the survey’s whitepaper, subsection report, and online NATA Salary Survey Database. In addition, the executive summary will be published in the July/August NATA News. The AASPT Annual Meeting will take place July 10-11, 2026 in Seattle, presented in partnership with the AOSSM Annual Meeting. The program offers 2 days of focused, evidence-based education for sports physical therapists, including clinical updates, practical rehab strategies, and expert-led discussions on the latest advances in athlete care.
