Abstract

The following article has been retracted at the request of the Editor and Publisher:
Maqsood H. Aseptic Meningitis Following Rozanolixizumab in a Patient With Refractory Anti-MuSK Positive Myasthenia Gravis: A Case Report. The Neurohospitalist. 2026;16(3):297-299. doi:10.1177/19418744251378584
An individual contacted Sage asking to be removed as an author from the article byline, stating that they had not approved the final version of the manuscript, and that the contributor agreement was signed without their consent. They also raised the following concerns regarding the content of the article:
• Inaccurate details in the case description, including age of patient, duration of disease, lab values, duration of hospitalization and spinal fluid opening pressure
• Incorrect claim that the patient was treated with eculizumab
• The meningitis/encephalitis panel referenced in the article was not performed
• No evidence of written informed consent from the patient referenced in the article
The corresponding author, HM, also contacted Sage to request that the article be retracted due to discrepancies noted between the published paper and the patient data.
Sage contacted the author’s institution, who confirmed that HM should be the only author on the article and that they had requested the article’s retraction.
Due to unresolved concerns regarding the authenticity of the research process and the published data, Sage and the Journal Editor retract this article.
The corresponding author did not respond when informed of the decision to retract.
