Abstract
While World Future Society (WFS) has often solicited articles from speakers at the annual conference for its “conference volume,” there have always been some articles from nonspeakers who were inspired by that year’s theme—in this case, “Exploring the Next Horizon.” I would like to encourage aspiring authors, young and old, conference attendees or not, to give some thought each year as to how they would address that year’s conference theme. We aim to keep these themes broad and inclusive enough to welcome a wide range of approaches, and we are always willing to work with our authors to achieve the goal they are aiming at—reaching the foresight community.
