Retraction: Social Media Use for Cancer Support Among Young Adults with Cancer

Abstract

At the request of the publisher and the Journal Editor, the following article has been retracted.

The authors contacted the Journal Editor sharing concerns around the dataset used in the research described in the article. The data for the research was collected by survey company Op4G which has since been indicted for conspiracy to commit wire fraud.¹

While the authors cannot conclusively infer that fraudulent data was provided to them, they have lost confidence in the conclusions drawn and requested retraction of the article.

Due to unresolved concerns around the validity of the data used for the research, the Journal Editor and the Publisher retract the article.
