The Journal Editor raised concerns regarding inconsistencies between the subject matter of the article and the journal’s scope and objectives. During an internal investigation, Sage became aware that the peer review process for this article had been compromised.
As this article was accepted through a peer-review process that did not meet Sage’s and the journal’s expectations of high quality and ethical peer-review, the publisher and the journal cannot uphold the integrity of the research. In line with COPE guidelines and Sage policies, this article is retracted.
The authors did not respond when informed of the decision to retract.
