I am not sure where the ‘serious error’ in my editorial

lies. Kennedy and Farthing provide some helpful information on responses to, and adoption of, the UKRIO's procedure for investigating research misconduct. However, I suggested that it was not clear how widely used it is, and adoption is not the same as use. I look forward to learning more about how often the procedure has been used, by which organizations, and to what effect.
