Summary
Hemoglobinuria and hemoglobinemia in ewes followed intravenous injection of disrupted L. pomona cells. Hemolysis occurred only in presence of antibody. It is postulated that the hemolytic effect is due to interaction of a cellular component, antibody and red blood cells.
