I just read the In Memoriam section of the July – August 2017 issue about my dear friend and colleague Fred S.T. Boen.
I just want to point out that there is more than 1 book from Fred. In 1979, we published issue 17 of the Contributions to Nephrology series entitled “Today's Art of Peritoneal Dialysis,” with the proceedings of the First International Symposium on Peritoneal Dialysis held the year before in Chapala, Mexico. We both had the opportunity to share in this responsibility, and organized the above-mentioned meeting after a long conversation we had during the European Dialysis and Transplant Association (EDTA) Congress in Hamburg in 1976.
These lines are to honor the memory of such a brilliant scientist, dedicated individual, and very good friend.
