Abstract
In the process of researching relevant background material for a paper on vaccine reimbursement, I came across the journal supplement entitled “Practical Management of Vaccines” in the Canadian Pharmacists Journal, 1 and I found this resource to be extremely useful.
I wanted to express my congratulations on such an excellent compilation of up-to-date materials covering the field of vaccines in Canada. I truly appreciated your insight regarding the current Canadian vaccine environment. To be entirely honest, when I first came across your supplement last fall, I breathed a huge sigh of relief (i.e., to find a recent high-level overview), and I read this entire journal supplement before reading anything else in detail. This gave me an excellent jumping-off point to find and understand other literature as I delved deeper into reimbursement issues.
I especially loved the B&W photos from Heather MacDougall's private collection that were printed in this supplement. The outfits, hair, and even the glasses are very endearing! I think the photos made this supplement very elegant indeed.
I also appreciate finding each of your e-mail addresses directly embedded in the journal text (I think all journals should do this) — this enabled me to write to you very easily.
