This article was published in the February 2023 issue of The American Journal of Sports Medicine. An error was identified in the transcription of statistical software output into the bespoke software, specifically affecting the subgroup analysis.

As a result, one subgroup comparison in the “Results” section and in Figure 3 was incorrect, which led to a misinterpretation of that data in the “Discussion” section.

The corrections primarily relate to the impact of previous microfracture on the functional outcome of subsequent ACI, particularly in the “Joint Primary Outcome—Lysholm Scores (Patient Completed)” section. These revisions are minor and are not detailed here due to their limited significance. The primary outcome of the study remains unaffected.

The online version of the article has been updated, and Figure 3 has been revised to reflect the corrected information.
