Distance education is on the rise in higher education. This study compared learning outcomes of students in traditional and hybrid cohorts. Virtual reality (VR) gaming provides instant feedback and high repetition. Combined with telehealth, VR offers a promising intervention. Participants in this study were engaged, liked the flexible schedule, and showed functional improvement. Occupational therapy should consider incorporating easy access technology to maximize outcomes.

Music may influence the environment to maximize performance in the instrumental activity of daily living of driving. Interestingly, preliminary results of an ongoing pilot study found no significant differences among classical, self-selected, and control conditions. Wolfram syndrome (WFS) is a rare progressive genetic disease with metabolic and neurological impairments. We found that WFS negatively affected activity participation and that this effect may increase as WFS progresses. The most salient WFS symptoms may be those associated with neurodegeneration.
